Course objectives
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to;
- Supervise the implementation of aspects of airport security programme
- Monitor inspection, screening and searching of passengers, baggage and other security procedures
- Organize initial emergency or threat response actions
- Apply principles and practices of leadership, motivation and communication skills
- Monitor implementation of airport standard operating procedures
- Allocate and supervise duties of airport security personnel
- Assess job performance and supervise on the job training
- Ensure security incident reports are prepared, recorded and submitted
- Develop and maintain liaison with other agencies, organizations and entities.

Who should attend
Existing aviation security supervisors/prospective supervisors and have successfully completed the STP123 Basic Aviation Security Course.
