Aim of the course

The course is designed to impart trainees with knowledge of Aviation Security, develop skills in applying security procedures and measures and perform security tasks efficiently thus enhancing aviation security at the airport.

Pre-entry requirements

- Minimum age:18 years

- Education or Qualification Requirements: Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with Diploma from a recognized Institution.

To integrate knowledge of ICAO SARPS into the context of your designated role in your organization as part of a national responsibility to secure air cargo and mail against acts of unlawful interference – in accordance with Annex 17 and the ICAO Aviation Security Manual (Doc 8973- Restricted).

This five day course is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of personnel involved in the handling and security of air cargo and mail. 3. The training will cover various aspects of air cargo and mail security, including the latest regulations, risk assessment, security measures, and best practices. The course aims to ensure that participants are well-equipped to address the security challenges associated with air cargo and mail operations.  We invite representatives from various organisation to participate in this training program at a participation fee of TSHS. 800,000/= per participant, which does not cover accommodation.
