Approach Control Surveillance Conversion Course
Course Aim
The course is designed to transition and upgrade the qualified Area Control Surveillance controller by equipping with the theory, principles, and practice of Approach Control Surveillance. The course enables participants to practice Approach Control Surveillance procedures to provide effective and efficient approach control surveillance for departure and arrival traffic in terminal control area (TMA) in accordance with relevant national and international standards.

Who should attend
Participant intended to be an Approach Control Surveillance controller from different Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP).
Entry Requirements
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Holder of successful Area Control Surveillance certificate
- Must be actively employed as an Air Traffic controller and the employer must provide formal confirmation of the same
- Class 3 Medical requirements
- Minimum ICAO level 4 English language proficiency
