Course Aim

The course is designed to equip participants with the advanced theoretical knowledge, critical decision-making skills, and operational proficiency required to provide safe, orderly, and expeditious control of en-route and transit air traffic across a vast area of responsibility, strictly utilizing procedural separation standards based on position reports, time estimates, and flight levels, in full compliance with relevant national and international standards.

Who should attend

Participant intended to be an Area Control Procedural controller from different Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP).

 

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • Holder of successful Approach Control Procedural certificate or Aerodrome Control certificate.
  • Must be actively employed as an Air Traffic controller and the employer must provide formal confirmation of the same
  • Class 3 Medical requirements.
  • minimum ICAO level 4 English language proficiency
