Area Control Surveillance Conversion Course
Course Aim
The course is designed to transition and upgrade the qualified Approach Control Surveillance controller by equipping with the theory, principles, and practice of Area Control Surveillance. The course enables participants to practice Area Control Surveillance procedures to provide safe, orderly, and expeditious control of en-route and transit air traffic across a vast area of responsibility, utilizing advanced surveillance systems in full compliance with relevant national and international regulations and procedures

Who should attend
Participant intended to be an Area Control Surveillance controller from different Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP).
Entry Requirements
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Holder of successful Approach Control Surveillance certificate
- Must be actively employed as an Air Traffic controller and the employer must provide formal confirmation of the same
- Class 3 Medical requirements
- Minimum ICAO level 4 English language proficiency
